Critical Literacy

Critical literacy is when you apply critical thinking to a literacy topic.
It is when you question how and why a text was made.

Bais -  When you favor something over another thing.

Source  - Place where you get information from.

Credible - Able to believe. Facts to support information.

Authority - Have power. to give orders.

Reliable - Something you can relay/trust on.

Perspective - the way you see things or your opinion.

Agenda - A plan/list to do something. How you do things.

Manipulate - controlling.

Music Evaluation

Are you happy about the performance?
I'm am happy about my performance because we didn't mess up the cords. We were also in tune with the background music.

What was successful about your performance?
Everyone was trying their best and it turned out really good.

What would you do if you had to do it again?
I would use my left hand more.

Science - Planets

The smallest to biggest planets are Mercury, Mars, Venus, Earth, Neptune, Uranus, Saturn and Jupiter.

Fact about Mercury -   A year in Mercury is 88 earth years.

Fact about Mars - Pieces of Mars have fallen to Earth.

Fact about Venus - One day on Venus is longer than a year.

Fact about Earth  - A year on earth isn't 365 days.

Fact about Neptune -  Neptune is the roman God of the sea.

Fact about Uranus - Uranus is referred to as "ice giant" Planet.

Fact about Jupiter - It had 65 moons.

Fact about Saturn - Saturn has 62 moons.

Christmas Music

What is the purpose of Christmas music?
The purpose of Christmas music is to share stories and traditions through music.

What is your favourite Christmas song and why?
My favourite Christmas song is Jingle Bells because of the rhythm. It also makes me happy and cheerful.

Science

Did we land on the moon?
I think we didn't land on the moon because in the video the flag was moving but there was no atmosphere.  Since there is no atmosphere on the moon there should have been lots of present.
Another reason is that the shadow was diagonally when it should have been parallel because the sun was the only light source.
