Cybersmart

Today 8Bh and 8Ts have been learning about Narrowing search results. We have been working in the learning commons. Today we worked on using tools on google to help us search things. We were working on it because it can help us when we need to do research. I learnt that you can use tool to help you when your on images to change colour or using an image without copy righting them. It can help me with my blog because if I need some images I can use them without get copy righted and the tool can help with the colour you want and the size image you want. 

Stacking money, could it reach a basketball hoop?

If you stacked $20 dollar bills until you reached $1 million, would the stack be higher than the rim of a basketball hoop?

All of the research Kayla and I have come a decision and said that the money wouldn't stack up to a basketball hoop. I think the since the the bill is so thin that is wouldn't be able to because a basketball hoop is really tall. We searched up how tall it could be but it came up to 165 cm  so you won't be able to.

CyberSmart

For the past few weeks 8BH and 8TS have been working together about things on our blog post that bugs us. Ruby and I got together and work on what really bugs us on blogs. Our idea was about boring the blog post. We made a presentation about how we could help people make better posts.  Here are some reasons that could help everyone.

Today I will be showing you how to make a quality blog comment. I watched a video showing how to make one and here is the video in case you want to watch it.  Watch This!!!

First thing you should do is comment a specific thing you liked about it. Second thing you should do is add some more information to let your blogger know that you actually read it. Third thing you should do is give an idea for what they should do to make it better and also you can ask and question.  

Maths - Giving Change

Today my class had a cyber smart lesson with Mark. 
We were learning how to make a maths digital learning object (DLO).  Learning objective (LO) is to give correct change.
  Here is a DLO that I made. I hope you enjoy.

Overall I like to make this DLO. This was really fun because I like to make DLO about maths. The challenging part is when I didn't know how much change there needed to be. I hope you like it. please leave a positive, thoughtful and helpful comment.

Cyber smart

Today in cyber smart I have been on a website called Timeline. Our LO: use Insisomo (Interactive, Sight, Sound and motion) in your timeline.

 First we copied the spreadsheet and we all got different books and we had to write about it. 

My book was called Huggles can juggle. We had to put some pictures in there and text.
