HEC evaluation

Johanna and I chose this recipe because it related to the country that we chose. I liked the bechamel that we made and also the egg. I would change the bread that we used because it was too hard. I learnt how to make a croque madame as well as a sunny side up egg. We both chose this recipe because we thought that was similar the a eggs Benedict and that we both liked it.

Home Economics

How has food changed in the last 100 years and what have been the big reasons for this change? It has changed over 100 years because the settlers brought their own Maori cooked foods as they brought over new things for the Maori to try.

What was something you didn’t know about changes in NZ Food that you learnt from the cards.
The different ways the people cooked their food. Also how they gathered their food.

What could you see happening to food in another 50 years time.
More plant-based food.

What could you invent or change that would create a large impact on how we gather, produce or eat food.
Make plant-based foods to help save our animals from going extincted.
