25 year old letter

This week I have been writing a letter to the future me we had to include every thing you wanted to do as a 10 year old here is my story.

Dear Future Me,

By the time you read this many years will have passed. In fact you will be turning 25 years old. This is a little reminder of what your goals, dreams and aspirations were as a 10 year old.

Let’s start with your career.  You try so hard to do good at school and then go to university so you can be an inventor and design new things.  You would design electronics.

As you are aware, you are really passionate about playing sports especially hockey. You wanted to play for the Black Sticks Hockey Team.

You wanted to go to New York, Miami, China and Sydney.  You would then get a hotel that has a pool and a spa and then it would feel like home.

After all that traveling you would go back to your home, Christchurch, and get some rest.

The lie

This term in writing I have been doing a story about the lie. We had to make a poem about lies that we have heard about ourselves.

My day out

Orientation: In the holidays on Saturday 23rd of September my family, cousins and I went to Hagley park and McDonald's. We took some pictures and played in the playground it was so fun.

Story:

In the holidays on Saturday 23rd of September in the morning we got ready to go to Hagley park we went with my family and my cousins. Once we finished getting ready we had some breakfast and drove to Hagley park. Finally we were at Hagley park.

We started to take some pictures where there was some flowers and some blossom trees. After that next we played in the playground it was so fun we played there for about 30 minutes I was sweating. Next I got hungry so we drove to McDonald's.

Once we were at McDonald I got a drink and a combo it was so good, my brother got a drink and some chips. My cousin wasn’t that hungry so he just got a drink.

Finally we finished having McDonald's I was so full of eating so we drove back home. Once we got home I had a shower next I brushed my teeth then went to sleep all night long.

Conclusion

I was so thrilled that I went to Hagley park because it was so fun there. I like eating at Mcdonalds because the food there was so yummy I couldn’t stop eating. I sad because I didn’t spend much time at Mcdonald's because we had to go home.

In Ako Nghtahi we had to write a narrative about a video It was about a chimpanzee going into space for 65 years. My punctuation a vocabulary are in red here is the video space chimp my story hope you enjoy.

It's 1961 in America, and there I was sitting in a rocket ship.  I thought to myself that I am about to go into space for my whole life. 5 4 3 2 1 boom! The rocket is going to launch. My heart's thumping like a hammer.

This was not supposed to happen, I should be in the jungle with my family, but I am stuck here well I guess I went to space because I was being naughty but that's not all, they are also doing  a experiment on me.

I am in space I’m getting lightheaded I am going into deep deep sleep.

I woke up it's been 65 years now and it is 2026. The sun shining at my face and I opened my eyes and I have survived. So anyways my name is Jim, I’m a space chimp.

The galaxies is bright pink, dark blue, purple and dazzling white stars glowing into my eyes.

I reached my hand out to earth and I came closer and closer I am about to land. I close my eyes and I keep relaxed because it was really bumpy then I realize I hit
terra firma!!!!

I got out of my seat and I come outside and there was trees lifeless as mars it's just looks like a wasteland . I don’t even see any people around  I have checked in shops and in houses where there was no windows I mean who demolished this place anyways?

I was walking around the place and I was screaming help help!!! but I was also thinking that something is suspicious I see someone walking everywhere I was trying to catch up to him but then I did I said to him

“why isn't anyone here?”

“well hi I am jack it’s nice to meet you no one is here because we are running out of food to eat  and they died because of that”

“but how come you're still alive?”

“because I just came to this country 1 month ago”

10 years later I tried to find Jack but I couldn’t so it just me I tried to go in shops to see if there was any food but there wasn’t. So I sat down on the wet ground and I said to myself just to live life to the fullest I started to lay on the ground and  get lightheaded and that was the end of me.

My worst day ever!

My presentation

It was a normal bright and sunny day in June 17.  I was just walking along the path looking for some food to eat by the lake. I’m going to eat some grass just on the path.

I saw some lions coming towards me ‘oh no’ where is my dad,  I was so horrified I was trying to sprint as quickly as I could away from the pride of lions.

‘Oh no’ they captured  me the pride of lions pull me into the water.  A crocodile came and they had a tug of war. They were pulling me everywhere, but finally they stopped and the lions won. They pulled very hard on me.

 

The lions were so happy, but not for long because the buffalos came back. The buffalos came and scared the lions away so I could be with my family again.

So now the battle has ended I feel so thrilled and relieved that I am back with my family again.
