This is an idea that my friends came up with that were going to design. Were going to make it scary so we would get balloons to match the killer tubbies.
 

Health

Health:

A Whare Tapa Wha is about all dimensions of Hauora which is Social,Mental,Emotional,physical and
spiritual. Today in health we were asked to make a house with all 4 dimensions of each side.
This is useful to know because all the dimensions relate to your everyday life and everything you do.
As a team I think we did great making the house because there was 4 of us two were writing and the
other two were making the house also everyone worked together.
We also did great with our communicating because we work great as a team.
My favourite quote is “Life's hard but never give up”.     

                                                       

Maths

In maths I learnt that it's all about depth not speed. My teacher let's us take the time to figure out questions.

English: The 91 Storey Tree House

Today in English We got 10 minutes to read a book and my book was The 91-Storey Tree House illustrated by Terry Denton. This is about two people called Terry and Andy and they live in a tree house. They both have an air-traffic control tower, a submarine sandwich shop the size of a actual submarine. They also a have big red button but don't know what it does. Will the button the world explode?? Or will it do something mysterious.

Today the part of the book I was reading was about Terry and Andy having to babysit Mr Big Nose's grandchildren. They let the kids play around but they didn't keep an eye on them so they went missing. Terry and Andy had to quickly try and find them but needed to go the the Madam Know-it-all. She knows everything the past, present and future. They finally found out that the kids were in the whirlpool. Terry and Andy arrived at the whirlpool and the kids were getting closer and closer to the centre. What will happen next?? Will they be able to get out???

Today the part I read when Terry and Andy were about to go in the wardrobe portal. Same soon as they walked in it was pitched black but they kept on walking forward until they saw some light which lead to them in a random place. What will happen next?? Will they be able to find the kids or will they be lost even more??? 

Dinosaur Blog

In science last week we made a mixture of a powder and water and then I added a dinosaur in the mixture. The mixture should be thick but mine was to liquidity but we added some more powder to make it less liquidity. When the mixture was hard we tried to hammer it out but it was really hard to get it out. When we got it all out we had a imprint of the dinosaur.

EOTC Week

Last week and this Tuesday the whole year 8's were going to do some activities. The thing I most enjoyed was going to adrenaline forest. It was so much fun but it was scary at times we also ended it with some of my friends playing football.  I found the hardest thing was when I was a the Omaka Scout Camp some of the activities were out of my comfort zone like the slack line and the archery. Some skill I learnt was how to balance on the slack line and how to put on an arrow properly onto the bow at archery. I learnt lots of thing about myself like some things that I didn't want to do but I still tried and was really fun. 

For the first day we went to a Marae and there were people doing speeches for us and then when did Hongi with them. Later we went to a museum and looked at some of the stuff there.

The second day we went to the Omaka scout camp and we were sorted into groups and do activities in them. It was fun but rainy we didn't do any water activities because of the rain .

The third was at the Adrenaline forest and climbed trees. For lunch we had fish and chips. After when went to Spenser Park.
