I cut  all the paper

I started to glue my paper on the A3 paper. I cut my paper into smaller squares.

Finding a design to draw

1. My reflection 
First I looked on google to find a picture to draw.  I drew a picture and it was a flower.  Then I cut coloured paper into small squares

Hands on fire

Hands on fire
The purpose of this experiment to learn how to follow instructions and BE SAFE.
DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT SUPERVISION OF A TRAINED PROFESSIONAL.

Aim: 
I want to safely be able to set myself on fire.

Equipment:
water
soap (detergent)
lighter 
safety glasses
lab coat

Method:
1. Be SAFE
2.wet your hands, wrist and forearms
3. Grab a scoop of bubbles
4. Hold the bubbles up in front of your face, as far away from you as you can. Lock your elbows.


5.  To get rid of the fire, SLOWLY move your hands a part.

6.  DO NOT DROP YOUR HANDS BELOW YOUR EYE LEVEL because fire goes up and you will set yourself on fire.

Results:

The Scientific method

This is a list of seven headings that are used in scientific experiments. 

Aim: Allows people who read it to understand what the experiment is about.

Hypothesis: An educated guess of what you think will happen.

Equipment: The materials required for the experiment.

Method : Step by Step instructions detailing exactly how it will be carried out.

Results: The data found from the investigation. 

Discussion:  This is where you would discuss your findings.

Conclusion: Interpret the results. It is here you would outline whether or not you met the hypothesis.

The Skittles experiment

The Skittles experiment 

1. Half fill a petri dish with water.

2. Carefully place 4 differently coloured skittles evenly spaced around the outside of the petri dish.

Hypothesis I think that the skittles colours are going to swirl in together.


the skittles are made of sugar and food colouring. As the sugar dissolves the food colouring moves over the water  with sugar until it cannot move any further because of the other colours.

 

Planting Seeds

Planting Seeds

We planted 4 kinds of seeds. 

These were:

1.Mustard 

2.Radish

3.Sunflower

4.Bean

We are going to see how long these seeds take to germinate. 

Once they have grown we will be able to plant there.

Homework

This term my class has started homework. The homework was about sustainability. For homework one of them was to try and make a animation about how can sustainability protect our world. 

My animation was about a person putting rubbish in the bin so it won't hurt the environment. Here is my google slide that I made. I hope you enjoy.

Overall I had fun making this animation. Though the process it took a long time to make because there was a part where I messed up so then I had to do it all over again. Please leave a positive, thoughtful and helpful comment.
