Earthquake DLO

On  November the 14th 2016 there was a earthquake in Christchurch.

The earthquake was 7.5 magnitude.

It damaged the Kaikoura road and there was big crack on the concrete.

When the earthquake started it woke me up it was so shaky it was shaking for 2 minutes I felt tired and scared.
If you have never been in a earthquake you need to go in a turtle position and you should always have a survival kit.
The good thing was that our house was safe and no one got hurt.

   

  

Making healthy food

This week on Monday we have been making some healthy foods.

We made some smoothies, salad, Hawaiian chicken kebabs and zucchini Parmesan crisps.

We were in our writing groups in my group I have Mikayla, zayd, Jaxon and Tyra.

My group made zucchini Parmesan crisps it was so good here are some pictures of us cooking and eating.

This term we have been learning about nutrition. We were working in groups of 2 to 3 I was with Siola and Samicle. We were looking at some food labels that had protein, trans fats, saturated fats and sugar from some chips and other foods to see if it was healthy or not.

My day out

Orientation: In the holidays on Saturday 23rd of September my family, cousins and I went to Hagley park and McDonald's. We took some pictures and played in the playground it was so fun.

Story:

In the holidays on Saturday 23rd of September in the morning we got ready to go to Hagley park we went with my family and my cousins. Once we finished getting ready we had some breakfast and drove to Hagley park. Finally we were at Hagley park.

We started to take some pictures where there was some flowers and some blossom trees. After that next we played in the playground it was so fun we played there for about 30 minutes I was sweating. Next I got hungry so we drove to McDonald's.

Once we were at McDonald I got a drink and a combo it was so good, my brother got a drink and some chips. My cousin wasn’t that hungry so he just got a drink.

Finally we finished having McDonald's I was so full of eating so we drove back home. Once we got home I had a shower next I brushed my teeth then went to sleep all night long.

Conclusion

I was so thrilled that I went to Hagley park because it was so fun there. I like eating at Mcdonalds because the food there was so yummy I couldn’t stop eating. I sad because I didn’t spend much time at Mcdonald's because we had to go home.
