Klara is more human than most humans as she experiences feelings that no other robot experiences. She experienced a breakdown and what it felt like to be sad. 

What connections can you draw so far between Klara and the Sun and Blade Runner 2049? Some connections between both Klara and the Sun and Blade Runner 2049 is the idea of love and what it is. Love is more of what others think of you rather than what you think of them. In Blade Runner 2049 we see the love between K and Joi. K a replicant develops feelings for Joi who is an A.I. As the viewers we see the connection they both have with each other even though they aren't human. This can also be shown in Klara and the Sun. Klara is a robot and even though she is, she was able to develop feelings and emotions and have a more deeper connection with Josie.  

Another connection in both Klara and the Sun and Blade Runner 2049 is the discrimination we see. In Blade Runner 2049 we see discrimination as people who aren't "lifted" are looked down on. People who aren't lifted are looked down on because they aren't genetically modified so they aren't able to go to the school they want and are likely to get a job with less pay. We see this in Blade Runner 2049 as K is a replicant and is hated because of that. In Blade Runner 2049, replicants were made to do jobs better than normal humans. As there is an increase in replicants, more humans aren't employed and because of that, hate on repli

How has your understanding of what it means to the human/to have personhood changed since studying these texts? My understanding of what it means to have personhood now is about how aware you are and the feeling you encounter.
